rushy lad
No Ratting for me for a while, Both terriers took a disliking to each other which resulted in two very lame and swollen terriers, Big vet bill and moaning missus :*) Just as the rats are starting to put in an appearance They have always since pups had their differences, but of late have been great together, I suppose with working terriers you can never be too sure. High velocity
sorry to hear that your dogs had a fall out, its upsetting that they used to get on well together and you enjoyed seeing them work together. BUT through past experience of JRT they will be at each other again by the sounds of it, and one may not be so lucky, have you got any mates you can give one to, that way you will be able to keep in touch with your dog. hope all ends well B)
rushy lad
Couldn,t give one away mate, Too attached now, So is the missus and kids, The fell bitch will have to come out of the kennels and into the house to live I think. I will just have to be vigilant. B) Both dogs are still lame, I think it will be a couple of weeks at least until I get out and about with them again. Rushy. High velocity
i totally agree it would be difficult to give away a member of the family. its just a great pity that they have a fall out now and again. i remember one time at my mums somebody made a mistake and let out all the JRT 18 of them, not all of them got on with each other so it ended up a bit well could have been worse, 4 of us trying to keep them apart. vet bills and major B*****kins after. hope there both ok soon B)

rushy lad
Hiya Ziplex, Yes I have a nearly new rifle that I have used from time to time, It is an airarms, Carbine multishot which I paid a small fortune for! Shot a few maggies and crows with it but only used it on Rat once. I might take it on Sunday night to my Chicken farm. What are the best pellets to use, Anyone any idea? rushy lad
Back to it now, after a lay off with dogs dogs being lame, Caught eleven on Sunday night, Could have had a lot more. Rats everywhere, Great sport. On the down-side two airgunners dressed and moving about like the SAS turned up, Left dead rats hanging about and stole on of my Live rat traps. A word with the farmer soon sorted it... :< Rusht.
