Slug
Never seen one in the flesh like the look of the Composite SX3, what are these models like for reliability and ease of maintenance ? Cheers Slug..
tweedledee
sx2 is a fantastic auto.mine has never missed a beat in over 3 years.i use it regularly.the piston is a bit fiddly to clean but i am over the top when it comes to cleaning.i don`t see how you can go wrong with either the sx2 or sx3. ferreter10
Great gun, my m8 has had one for 2 years now, uses it for everything!!! Great reliability- on the marshes one day he dropped it in a dyke, shaked a couple of times, worked fine!!! He says he has never cleaned it but yet it still workes fine. He loves it. Mr_Logic
I had the SX3. Too light for me on the clays, and I didn't shoot the pigeons I thought I would. But it was a good gun, shot reliably (with decent length carts) and is easy enough to clean.
MC
I thought the SX2 was a bit agricultural and was noisy when cycling, the SX3 had a synthetic stock was was really small. They are both fine for the money you pay but I would only ever buy a Beretta auto.
starlight32
I have an SX3 in composite mossy oak and I like it, but then I do not seem to shoot as well with it as I do a Benelli. Regards starlight

Fuji Shooter
I own an SX3 Flanigun and love it. Only thing it won't cycle is Gamebore White Gold XLR carts (28gm 8s 70mm) for some reason. Loves anything by Eley or Express. I thought it may be my gun or a bad batch but my mate purchased a new Flanigan on Friday and that wouldn't cycle them either (his own batch, not mine) He stuck in some Eley Blues and never had a problem. Stock is a bit thin and small but apart from that shoots well, even on skeet with a 30" barrel.
Slug
The Gamebore White Gold XLR have been recommended to me for the Benelli M2 as a fast cartridge with low recoil..hence the XLR extra low recoil..I find the Eley Blues good for most stuff TBH, but I will try the Gamebore in the pump.
