Can I then give the CD to my mate so he can use it? Would it work, would we be able to play online? I'm fairly certain Microsoft won't have missed this trick, but the question is worth asking, and worth the undoubted abuse I'm gonna get for asking! SirDread Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 Xbox checks the source (CD) to make sure you actually have a copy before then playing it off the hard drive. Like Silpig5 says makes a hell of a difference on the noise levels as the unit doesn't have to spin up the cd drive while your playing the game. Best update on the XBOX yet.
