luckytrigger
I own a falcon prarie pf18mp in .177 it a great airrifle (and ive owned a few!) short pointable and lightweight and ultra reliable. Its my no1 choice on shoots where my rimmie is unsuitable or when im ratting.
Dekers
Dave, although i`ve never owned a Falcon rifle i know that these are excellent rifles.I have always fancied getting a Falcon Lighthunter and may well do in the near future! What he said, if you are after a ratting gun the get the lighthunter, I have the older FN19 Walnut Skeleton stock, very light and pointable and considering the barrel is about as flexible as a bass guitar string it is remarkably accurate!! farmboy99
i had a fn12 or 8 cant remember raptor lightweight and it was excellent. i found it fiddly to load though and it did tend to be a bit tricky to get going ie it would jam on the first pellet. youd have to cycle to mech with no mag in and then replace mag and itd sort out. but to shoot and use it was a lovely gun. have you considered a ultra multi? that might be a good ratter too or even better a s410k (basically the gun i have apart from its a 400 with multi conversion) really excellent little rifle and mines regged so get a lot of shots out of her for fill
Dirtboy
I have been using a Falcon Prarie FP-25MW for the past couple of years and can fault it save for the magazines. If you go second hand its worth spending +/-£25 on a new mag as mine came with plastic which have now been replaced with metal versions that are much better. Note that you need a minor tweak of the crown wheel for these to work fine but its a few minutes works really. Customer service is beyond belief - they are willing and quick to email or ring you back to help anyway they can and even sent me some bits n pieces FOC !!! Cant rate em highly enough mate, good value for money and Made in Blighty so ticks my boxes. Also a good forum for falcon owners where you will get loads of help Edited February 25, 2010 by Dirtboy
6br
the titan/falcon/falcon light hunter are good rifles not so keen on the rapter seen them jam up with pellets in the action and go into the trigger and go off with out pulling the trigger I had to strip the lot down and the trigger to put it right.if I was you I would look at the AirArms s400/s410 probably the best PCP for the price.
