CZ550Kevlar
I just sold my straight pull .223Rem and have my licence back, Now the question is i have seen a second hand Tikka .223 lite in composite with 1" optilock mounts for £625 which seems like a fair price, also the same RFD has a Ruger .22/250 M77 MK2 stainless steel composite rifle brand new at £625. I can probably work some money off if i buy the 2 rifles and i am sorely tempted to have them both but after looking at search results they are pretty lame reviews and don`t tell me much, does anyone here have either of these rifles and are they any good?? steve_b_wales
They are both excellent rifles. I would opt for the Ruger77 because of the caliber. Nothing wrong with .223 though. Just my personal choice and opinion.
Dekers
I have the T3 Lite .223 (Composite), but also available "Composite" as a couple of varmint versions and a tactical. My Lite has always shot well but the balance with a mod on a factory gun is ****!! Mine is the 1-8 twist and it handles everytning from 40-75g ammo, I really don't know why, but it does!! I know little about the Rugers except they are well made but not everyones cup of tea!!
Mr_Logic
They're both decent guns. The Ruger will need a new trigger as Ruger Mk2 triggers are ****, but should be OK thereafter. Tikka would be my preference though.
