12borejimbo
.22 hornet is a great rifle, the keeper i go shooting with has got one and this is what I learnt to shoot foxes and long range rabbits with, lovely gun, loads of power but quite a rare round. Dekers
The Hornet isn't at all popular today with the uninformed. However, most owners love it for its efficiency and versatility, especially if you reload! I suspect most would love it if given the opportunity to try it! owain
I've just got my self a hornet and I really rate it. There was a few second hand ones around a while ago keep you eyes open and one will come up, you wont regret it. Owain

Mr_Logic
CZ 527, the only real gun in Hornet these days. Ruger still makes one, and Anschutz. I'd get the CZ every time, mine was secondhand and has been cut to about 18" and I've worked on the trigger - the whole package is excellent and the groups are <.5" MOA. Can't argue with that!
