shawi72uk
Has anybody noted the time of year that the pigeons start going off in singles and smaller flocks instead of these huge flocks ? Cheers Steve

berettaman
WE need a lot more up here,a good few of the shooters travel miles to find them but these guys have had their land sewn up for years and extra land is like the proverbial hens teeth ,its amazing just how many shooters there are in your area and you didnt know till you actually started the leg work, i just wish there was a recipe for crows

bobby
Has anybody noted the time of year that the pigeons start going off in singles and smaller flocks instead of these huge flocks ? Cheers Steve Im in lincolnshire. huge flocks a few weeks ago. a farmer i asked for permission and said no put out scarecrows poles and flapping bags all over. as i drove past i stopped watching hundreds of them eating his livelyhood whilst walking round his scarecrows etc. this week there is non. even if they have broke up there is not a lot about. got 3 acres behind our house neighbours dont like it but can have some really good days on there lol. not had much on local rape etc as they moved home. theyl be back soon
bignoel
we went out yesterday for a try but still big flocks a few groups of 20 or so came around and vanished not everyday can be a 100 + day secound bird from right i just shot and my mate took pic ended on 9 rain stoped play and i couldnt see the day improveing as the birds had to much rape and drilling around they just clutterd off else where in big groups .
