Imperfection
With Section 2 shotguns-you can have as many as can be secured. No idea about this "put me up for a 3 gun cert" thing.
brian28
Prob decided 3 guns because cabinet is 3 gun size you can have as many as you want. i got round this by having spare cabinet fitted .
mickmep
feo was probably refering to the size of your cabinet. was told when i had mine inspected that my cabinet was big enough for 7 so would be hearing from him when i registered my 8th so will probably be talking to him sometime in the not too distant. as with number you are allowed its as previous post, as many as you can secure. some say you will get a visit / call if you register too many too fast, but i've not heard anything from mine and my misses recons i've got a compulsive disorder :o .....................dont know what she means :look:

hawkeye
I used to have a 6 gun safe then changed it to one that holds 13 guns..This was checked by the feo when i had it installed about 12 months later i got a call from him to say i could not have the new shottie i had just bought as that would take me to 8... When i asked why he said because i didn't have enough security i queried this and asked what he meant to be told i would have 8 guns and only a 6 gun safe.. Then i dropped the bomb shell and told him he had just inspected my 13 gun safe a few months earlier deadly silence......then that will be OK then he had done the check but had not updated the system  Up to 9 at the moment so still room for more :good:
Dekers
This is a strange one and just shows the differences around the country and indeed between FEO's. I have 3 cabinets now and bought and sold a smaller one along the way as well, I have a number of FAC tools and shotguns and have never had an issue with size, volume or installation, No FEO has ever inspected any of my Cabinets since I moved house either and my Region does not have a clue where mine are mounted or the capacity. I have never been questioned about capacity and commonly hold additional FAC tools and shotguns for assorted people on top of mine, so regular changes to my FAC/SGC.
