cloudwalker
Just bought my second Deerhunter Ram off a well know auction site for £77 with matching trousers for £40.99. Had my first for many years but the briars have finally put paid to it!
provider
Another vote for the Deerhunter Ram. I've had mine for about six years and still going strong. Prov
fergy
Deerhunter Montana Jacket 5 in 1 great jacket. I've been wearing one this winter and found it only needs a T-shirt underneath. Very warm and comfortable.

ozzy518
Ive had my Deerhunter Montana jacket and trousers a few years now and its excellent kit, has always been warm and dry and hard wearing. If I was to be very critical I would say that the pockets could do with waterproofing. The waterproof membrane that covers the inner jacket and arms and the seat and legs of the trousers does not cover the pockets at all so if it rains you will find that the contents of your pockets will get wet...All I do now is if it rains is make sure i transfer my wallet to a pocket inside the waterproofing
Fishh
I've got a pal that offered me a good deal on a Ram at the shop he works for. I was tempted until I saw the plastic shoulder pads. I've been borrowing my fathers advantage camo duck dry for the meantime and have found it very warm in the winter, lacks decent pockets though. Beardo
what's wrong with the rubber strap pads? they certainly help keep straps on your shoulders.
aaron airgunner
i use this camo pattern for summer: http://www.pbase.com/porkchop/image/44429815.jpg i got the jacket of this at the kelmarsh gamefair. its danish army surplus and semi waterproof (showerproof) but needs a waterproofsinf spray over it. it has plenty of pocket 2 chest zip pockets, 2 large front pockets , a poachers pocket, detachable hood but best of all i just love the camo pattern! flytie
I use the Deerhunter Montana Jacket and love it, coming up on 5 years hard use. I washed it, then reproofed about 18 months ago after I had got it covered in deer blood. Still keeps me dry! I am not as keen on the trousers though. I spend a lot of time getting in and out of vehicles going round the shoot I am in. This seems to put the rear pocket studs under too much stress and they rip out, which is a bit of a beggar. ft
bennyuk
Anyone used Napier of London, Purbeck camo, I was given a Jacket & Trousers and they seem excellent. Never seen them before and just wondered if anyone else had any or if they were any good.
