Aled
Hello All There is an article in the Field magazne this month that got me thinking Next door to some of my permmission there is a small (in FC terms) block of woodland. Its pretty remote and to the best of my knowledge not used for amenity purposes. Does anybody know if the Forestry Commission consider cold calling from shooters? I know they do rent rights out, but you usually see them advertised in Shooting Times etc. Any suggestions/advice much appreciated. markm
Forestry let woodland for shooting at big money. If there are deer in their the rights will be taken by someone.
Dunkield
I wouldn't be so negative, FC do allow stalkers on their land but I am fairly sure you need DSC1 if not 2 to be able to do it. Give them a call you don't have anything to lose.
Aled
Oh dear, (excuse the pun) all i wanted was a bit of extension to my rough shooting land. No disrespect to those who do stalk but not really interested in the deer. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Tight Lines Aled

Aled
Thanks for this guys, the people i should be asking are the two FC workers who i know quite well. Ones a keen shot and we're members of the same angling club. Why didn't i think of this first! Slaps own head in frustration.
