Big Spence
Hi all been reading this fine site for some time now and i've decided to back into the sport after a bit of a lay off (plus i mainly go fishing most weekends), i currently own a Theoben Taunus .22 which i used to use for most of my shooting but i am now going to upgrade and go for a pneumatic, i've been reading alot of posts and seem to be swinging for a AA S410K but i do fancy the BSA Super10 just wanted to see a few opinions on both guns before i bite the bullet and buy one Spence. Ferret Master
Hi, I have an S410k and it is great however I have never tried the BSA Super10. Roblade will probably be able to give you a better answer as he is likely to of tried both. ( I hope he has or I will look like a muppet ) FM
Axe
A friend of mine has a 410 and swears by it, personally I find the stock a little "chunky". The Super 10 is an equally good rifle and feels better to hold. However, if I were to buy another airgun, it would be a Theoben Rapid 7. pavman
I have a S410 nice tool but would do better to get a FAC and bump it up to 20 ftlbs, ok for bunnies as it is (lamping) but range as with most 12f t lb AG's is limited Was going to look a spring action .177 for a change, any comments? pavman
MC
Hi Pavman, I have just bouight an Air Arms Pro sport in .177. I think it it a great little rifle. Well balanced and comfortable to shoot with. Cheers MC
1 of 5
I have had both. The S10 is a good gun when it works. They are not the most reliable of guns. The regulators are prone to go wrong. I'd plump for the 410 or the HW100. Most folk I know who've had a S10 ended up moving it on.
Big Spence
Thanks for all the replies looks like it could be a S410 then and probably .
SNAKEBITE
and probably .177 You don't wanna do that ..................... I shall now sit in the corner with my tin hat on. "INCOMING"
jordan
Whats Wrong with .177's their alot more forgiving when you misjudge your range and will kill as well as any .22 as long as you hit the prey in the head.
Maori Haz
I have a .22 in AAS200 and my best friend has an AAS200 in .177 and so i don't have a problem with either, the .22 hits harder, the .177 hits faster. It doesn't matter really, only that you both get head shots. Cheers, MH

No offence Jordan!! I was just on a wind up. This one of the arguements that will run forever. And everyone is right, so whilst that should stop all the arguements it doesn't stop me from poking it up a little Besides .22 is best. Incoming....................
