starlight32
The usual two years is nearly up on one of my autos so its time for change. Over the years I have been fortunate to have owned quite a few and enjoyed most in the main stream on offer. No problems I just get bored and get something else like many do. Had Berettas,Brownings,Winchester,Benellis,Remingtons and even a Fabarm. Now the one may have to be the New Browning Maxus, but I do have trouble spending over a grand on an auto these days. If I came on here and said I thought of buying an Escort would you think I am going nuts?
SSS
Oh dear They are very popular for a reason, they're cheap and nasty, but work well and you don't have to worry about getting them scratched or rusty. Personally, if I had the money to, I would look at the new beretta explor unico or the browning maxus. I am not a fan of the hatsans, but, that is my view and not much will change it. They just feel to cheap. Good luck
Bagsy
Funny you should say that, just been looking at a couple of Escorts myself. Want something to throw around and get wet without the worry of cost

The other had already gone
samboy
I bought an Escort for rough shooting and am well pleased with it. It is synthetic and with out the side button for loading. But because it was cheap does not mean i dont look after it. Would i spend a grand + to rough shoot ? NO. But at the end of the day each to there own. If i scratch my Hatson i think oh well, if i scratch my Miroku Gd 5 im gutted.
pigglet
I've just bought a Franchi Fast from bywell shooting ground for £765. Basically you get the benelli action and all the other stuff ( chromed barrel, 5 chokes, shims to adjust the stock etc) including a 7 year waranty. For the money I'm so far very very pleased with it. I've done a first impression review on another site and will copy it over to here if you like.
