badshot
I knew it would happen, got an L200 to replace the dead pajero. It's on road tyres with a fair bit of wear left on 3 of them, so thought I would have to stick with them until they wore out. After getting stuck with them I am looking to change them for something a bit better, I found the cooper tyres and they look right at the right price too. Has anyone got them fitted? this is the st http://base0.googlehosted.com/base_media?q...179a4&hl=en and this is the stt http://base1.googlehosted.com/base_media?q...b88fc&hl=en A bit on the small side but it's the best I can do I am afraid. Kit Monster
Just bought a L200 myself....think the engine might be on the way out but thats a different story....it's got Discoverer ST's on it and so far I'm impressed with them. More road noise than originals obviously but nothing to moan about. Been over fields a fair bit and they seem to be doing the job. Would like to comment on the fuel consumption but with my truck running at about 15mpg at the moment due to the engine probs I cant really
badshot
Thanks chaps, 15mpg sounds a bit expensive. I have ordered the new set today, had to get all of them as I have gone for 70 profile not 65. I cannot understand why manufacturers go and fit stupid size wheels to 4x4 which are a struggle to get nobbly tyres for.
gixer1
I had a set of coopers fitted on my Vitara and they were fantastic, they were quite wide but didn't have a really aggressive tread which is good when driving around in fields trying to do as little damage as possible! badshot
Had the coopers fitted today and they certainly look the part. They do hum a bit on the road so am glad I went for the st not the stt. Had to go slightly taller at 70 profile which is not the end of the world. Time will tell if they are as good off road as they look like they will be.
