nick_c
Though I would post this for those who may be interested. If I am reading this correctly, you could shoot 60 clays for £6 if you take off the £10 entry fee? looks like a bargain. http://www.bca.ac.uk/pdf/clay_pigeon.pdf http://www.bca.ac.uk/pdf/open_weekend.pdf Nick. Dekers
I don't quite understand the wording, it says not applicable to Have a Go, but it also says it's applicable to shooters, I'll be up there before then anyway so I'll try to remember to check. Cheers for posting I'm up for that. The way i read it is that you get the £10 entry back if you do the clay shoot, the 2nd person in the car wouldn't though. Still a good deal i recon And i'm really looking forward to the rest of the day although walking round with a slipped gun doesn't lol. Jon. Jon. ...so ...you get £10 off the £16 shoot entry fee= £6..but you have still paid £10 for entry, so it still costs £16 in total?...... but not £10 entry plus £16 shoot=£26 Whatever!! All being well I'll get a comp anyway...so I'll have to pay £16 for the shoot

JamesD10
I'm also in a bit of a flap about the way it has been worded, Par example: If I were to drive there in my car and had 3 other passengers, is the entry fee per car £10? and If I was to shoot 60 sporting I am only eligible for the £10 discount from the standard £16 charged to shoot? and furthermore, if my father (who has never done clays before) were to partake in the "Have-a-go" clay shoot what would happen then? Does anyone know what "Have-a-go" clays entails? I assume its 10 clays or so under supervision or guidance from a BCA member of staff. And the only other thing which I worry about is that I'm going to be taking my guns that day and don't plan on leaving straight after the shoot, as the female members of my family want to peruse the menagerie of baby animals on display! I can't believe that I can't figure this out! haha

If it was the same rabbit as Saturday that was a tricky one. I forgot all about this Are there going to be any more, or was that a bit of a one off? There was a new list of dates for the BCA one on the back of the score card, Saturdays but as I submitted my card I don't have the dates. Hopefully they will be updated on the BCA website soon. Jon. JonD
Flightline...Not bad last time I was there..but that must have been 2 years ago, not cheap then I remember, but a nice little setup!! I went to Flightline today for the first time having never been able to find it... It was a good setup with some very tricky birds, for me anyway lol As for expensive i thought it was very reasonable, 70 bird ESP was £16 for practice. Will definitely go again Jon.
