Hi all,

New to pigeon watch so thought i best introduce myself. I'm Dan and live near Wisbech in Cambs. I used to shoot shotgun with my dad when i was about 12 until he got into .22 rifle target shooting. I finally got myself motivated a couple of years ago and got my SGC and was bought a baikal o/u 12g for my 21st birthday. I started shooting clays and was hooked instantly so soon after went out and bought a browning 425 o/u 12g multi choke which could almost have been made for me personally. Fits perfectly.

I've been completing a little bit of pigeon shooting with a mate in his orchards however the shooting has never been amazing. I really want to start pigeon shooting more regularly and leave the clays alone. I bought a beretta urika 2 semi auto this friday just gone and was out that evening for an hour getting a rabbit and a woody. I would like to be able to shoot more land in the CAMBS/NORFOLK area but am struggling to make contact with farmers. Does anyone have any advice or are their any landowners on here that would be willing to give shooting permission on their land. Im a basc member and ensure that any spent cartridges are picked up and that i leave no sign that i have been shooting in the area.

Well thanks fellas and its good to be on here.

Dan
