KPV4
If I am applying for a coterminous shotgun certificate with my application for a FAC, do I have to send 8 photo's to cover both or is 4 photos all that is required? As always I have done things back to front I only renewed my SGC a few months ago, should have done it then
MC
You only need 4, or at least I did when I just did my renewal.
allthegearandnoidea
I was told 8 by Thames Valley, no idea why as they used the same photo for both.
KPV4
I was told 8 by the fire arms officer today, and when I got home and read the guidance doc that comes with the forms (which only point to 4 photos) I thought he may have made a mistake, hence my reason for asking. Imperfection
You have to send 8 (four for each application) and remember to get your two references to counter sign 1 photo each from both sets. You also have to sign one photo from each set too. KPV4
Cheers Guys, looks like I'm off to spend another £4 in the photo booth tomorrow, hope my hair hasn't grown too much since the last ones
joke209061
The only reason you need more than one photot is because they havent altered the legislation covering applications. In the old days they needed more copies for various reasons. Nowadays they scan a photo and use it on all forms.
