peek-at
Hi, Some of you will already know that earlier in the year I put together a bulk order for CZ452 Plastic mags which went very well. The advantage of this was that the criminally high postage costs were shared amongst a number of people, making orders for single items affordable. I did receive a number of enquiries about the metal mags and also the metal 17HMR mag but I felt that i had to turn away these requests due to the weight factor. Postage costs are based on weight and I didnt feel it was fair to share the extra cost amongst those ordering lightweight plastic items. Now that I have the experience of putting together a bulk order i feel confident enough to do an order for varying items. Obviously at this point I have no idea of how much interest there might be, so I have estimated costs for the below items to reflect courier charges and postage on to you. All items are originals from CZ cz452 .22 Plastic magazine 5 round....................£15 cz452 .22 plastic magazine 10 round..................£15 cz452 .22LR metal magazine 5 round..................£26 cz452 .22LR metal magazine 10 round................£35 5 round Plastic 22WMR/17HMR magazine.............£15 Metal Magazine - .22 WMR/17HMR 5 round..........£30 Striker spring cZ452...................................... .....£3 Hammer (standard) cz452...................................£25 extractor cz452...................................................£8 Extractor Spring CZ 452......................................£4 If there is enough interested parties this may be worthwile doing again. If you are wanting something that isnt shown above, just drop me a PM and I will let you know if it can get it & include it on the order. A lesson learned from the previous order was not to accept payments by cheque as it slowed the process down massively. This in mind, any payments will need to be made by paypal but I will send out more details as and when an order goes in. Cheers Edited April 21, 2010 by peek-at

Cumbrian
I like your enterprise in this matter. (I did something similar in ordering Brooks trigger kits for CZ 452s from the USA.) What would your price be for a CZ 527 .223 5 shot magazine? They are advertised in the UK for £37.

Redgum
This is good and bad, bought a 17hmr mag off Peek-at, it really looked the part and very light compared with the rattly lump of metal that came with my CZ varmint. I was really excited until I tried to fit it, its not made for the varmint for sure but in my haste I decided that as it was marked .17hmr it should fit so out came the file for a bit of mild deburring. Then regret as felt I couldnt really expect Shaun to have it back as I had run the file over it and it obvoiulsly was not going to be straight forward to fit. Contacted seller and sympathetic he is not, well now I had just thrown £15 quid down the drain and wasnt getting a sorry or nowt so I had nothing to loose. Out came a bigger and sharper file and the light in my shed burnt deep into the night as I shaved tonne after tonne of composite off the little magazine. Rechoice, I now have a light mag that fits like a fox in a rabbit and feeds silky smooth ( the metal one was pants and would often push the round up to high to chamber and I was always tweeking it). Unless Peek-at sorts this with his supplier the ones he has will not fit a varmint ( which would probalby go for the 452 range) in .17hmr. Yes they are cheap, yes Peek-at is a good and trusty seller though not deep on compassion with a speedy service. To make the current ones fit ( they have 22wmr/17hmr marked on the bottom like the metal ones) you have to know what your doing but there is enough material to make one fit and they really improve on a CZ problem. If you get anymore in that have been tried and tested on a .17hmr CZ varmint and will just click in without a couple of hours work then please let me know and I will have one. P.s Peek-at is a great seller, good communicator and sends goods promply and I'm sure this problem is a manufacturing one and not his fault, if I hadnt tinkered I'm sure he would have given me a full refund. peek-at
Hi, Thanks for the feedback and the praise regarding speedy service etc and i'm sorry you felt I was unsympathetic in my reply regarding your problem. That was not my intention but im afraid you said it all when you mentioned that as you had 'tinkered' with it it would be unfeasible to send it back. Of course had it been in its original condition I would have given you an immediate full refund. I have sold one other and had no negative feedback so I can only assume it is particular to your rifle.... but having said that I still find that strange as it is still a 452 and you would think there would be no difference, unless of course there was a manufacturing fault on that mag Happy that you were able to 'fettle' it to get it to work for you cheers again, shaun PS. I have PM'd 'MRGSM' who is also on this forum and he is going to get one tested with a local dealer. That should establish if the problem is with that model rifle or with the mag itself Edited May 11, 2010 by peek-at
Redgum
Will be interesting to hear the result as my gun is a CZ .17hmr varmint with a 16inch barrel as standard, its about 18months old. It did need an awful lot of composite removed (8mm) from the front of the mag and then a new retaining notch put back into it. Luckily the walls on the front of the mag are thick enough to get away with it. Can't think what other gun this mag could be made for, are the bruno's differant to the 452's. Anyway, maybe I have just a rogue mag then it should be fine in the test.
