MC
anyone made there own rotary ? if so which wiper motor did you use ? car make ? front rear ? any ones to avoid ? i am on with making one at the moment and i am trying out a model aeroplane starter motor any advice welcome cheers holly A model starter motor will be far to fast and may not have the torque required. I have made several rotaries and just use whatever comes to hand. I think some are from a fiat and one is from a skoda. As long as they have a way of mounting them with the output shaft sticking up vertically they will be fine. Have a look on the bay for a suitable one and then go to your local scrapyard and get one for a fiver This one is spot on Edited April 29, 2010 by MC
