From where you are, Larmours out the Gilford Road, or McKerrs in Lurgan would be your best bet. Or if you fancy a drive, Beatties in Ballycarry always keeps a selection of boresnakes. I don't know if Hoppes has changed the 17 cal boresnakes but I bought one when they first came out and it was damn near impossible to pull it through a 17 bore. It probably works ok with a .177 barrel, maybe they have made them thinner now, but personally I wouldn't waste your money. Get a proper 17 rod like a Dewey, Tipton or my favourite Bore Tech and get a bore guide.

Picked up a brand new hoppes .22/223 boresnake of the fleabay for £12, looks like a private sale, as with the .17, got one from larmours, now will have to see if its gonna give any bother as the gun is off for proofing after a screw cut. Will more than likely end up getting a rod, only time will tell.
