new to the flock
It is made from a piece of White Ash, that I had cut and forgotten about. Left that stick up in the barn for almost 2 years till I found it again. I made that crook 12 years ago and it has seen some very heavy use over the years. The only change to the stick is that the crook has splayed open around 3/4 of an inch over the years.

Dunkield
Now they are works of art. I saw the guys at the stickmakers guild or similar at one of the gamefairs and ther work was incredible. None of their sticks were for sale. We saw the usual stick stand with the tat they sell later on, it seems if get a bit of wood and roughly slap a bit of antler and then something else above that and give it a very quick sand down people will queue up buy it B)
SNAKEBITE
I cut my own and the only thing I do is to put a pummel on the end a leather thong through the top. I should really get a bit more imaginative.
