Scope Mounted Camcorder on .222

Recommended Posts

Following the post I did on mounting a camcorder on the scope of my 17HMR I thought I would try it on my Bruno Fox .222 so that I could see if the recoil effected the camcorder (Which was always a risk). I took the Bruno out today with the camcorder mounted on the scope to check the zero as I am hoping to get out to "visit" the earth with the well developed cubs tonight (I will not be showing any video of that as I do not think it needs showing on an open forum). If you watch the video you will see that the zeroing was not far out even though the first two shots of mine were terrible (A good inch off centre). The good news is that the camcorder was not effected by the recoil!

very nice- do you like the rifle without a mod???

I had mine screw cut then added T8 and its a different rifle- horses for courses I guess- good video by the way

Les :good:

That's a hard one to answer Les as I haven't had a centerfire with a mod to compare it to. As it is my Bruno Fox isn't all that noisy, well not compared to the 22-250 that I had. I surpose that the crucial thing is that it does the job!
