Stick magnet

Hi guys

I have seen some where a stick that is used to pick up empty cartridge shells it has a magnet on the bottom.(bit like a walking stick)

 

I for the life of me cannot remember where i have seen it, was it in a shooting mag or on the internet on some site, have spent a lot of time today trying to find it. But no luck.

ye iv seen them too, cant remember where though either,, but i know they were about 45 quid :thumbs: why not use one of those magnetic pen thingys what you get from a hardware shop that a mechanic or someone would use for picking nuts n bolts and stufff up for a couple of quid?

iv seen them too a bloke on my shoot has 1 he made his empty shell witha magnet in side attched to the stick dunno if u wanna try that but ill ask him on this sat if he knows where to buy them

Most shooting grounds sell them Hawkeye. If you cant find one I can get one for you.

Its made by these guys. Keyser Products called the Retreiver........we use them for our shoots when people bring Auto's. Very handy indeed!

Thats the one ive seen Will thanks i tend to use auto most of the time and thought this would help picking up.:thumbs:

A clay shoot near me uses speaker magnets screwed to sticks to do this.
