Slug
I didn't use the search facility for this question as technology and trends change so quickly. If you were going to buy shooting glasses tomorrow and you went with an open budget which ones would you go for and for what reasons ? Thanks for looking.. JonnyR
Love my Oakleys - M Frames with Sweep lenses. Lots of people wearing Hi Def Spex - cheap, they ain't! cheers,
BigG
Hidefspex the max orange are very good & well made. Go for a 'post' option in my view. Not sure about lenses with light transmission greater then 65, can't see the point personally. Oakley very good, Radar is the new format. If you wear ear muffs the sides can push into your head, can become uncomfortable if worn all day. Best advice is to try before you buy, very easy to impulsively order some on the net then to regret it as I tend to! Rgds G
shaun4860
I use Oakleys and am very happy with them but i think now i would prefer the type with the vents cut into to top of the lenses as i steam up in damp weather. I look the look of the hi def spex without the post as well but they aint cheap... shaun
Dibs
I bought the Hidefspex "Blades" a while ago - similiar frame style to Oakleys. Not cheap but no reason why they wont last for many years so money well spent in my book. You get two frames, three lenses, two hard cases, plus a large zipped holdall so you get a nice bit of kit for your money. I dont even notice I am wearing them, apart from the charity shoot ay Hodnet with those high driven birds they collected the rain well! No steaming up though, always perfect clear vision. pigglet
I've got a couple of pairs of Oakleys but after buying a pair of Rudy project impact X glassses, I won't buy another pair of oakleys I also use a pair of serengeti photochromatic aviators as the thin arms work well with ear defenders. djrwood
I got a pair of Oakley M Frames and they IMO are unbeatable. I love them. Looking at getting the vented lenses next to stop them steaming up but thats only because i use them for cycling too. ATB Dan
