NGhost
Is that a 20 or a 28 bore? Seems well proportioned to your lad. Nigel
ernyha
Took my 7 yr. old grandson out for first time 3 years ago and he loved it.Could have had a bagfull myself but was too busy seeing he was safe at all time. But of course as he has no certificate I broke the law and now can only take him to a crowded clay shoot where it is legal and considered to be safe! Is this law crazy or what?

ernyha
William,it would only have been legal if I owned the land,it is not good enough that I had full permission to shoot over it. :(
Deako
Connors gun is just a 'cap' gun, its just the right size, excellent as a trainer and saves red faces if he 'shoots' a beater!! :(
supergame
If you are the occupier of the land you can legally take anyone shooting with you. unless your son is a prohibited person - Done over 5 years in the slammer. Can't see that somehow unless he shot somone when he was two. I had this law confirmed by the police and Basc not long back. The word occupier can be misunderstood as land owner, but I assure you that it is perfectly legal to take your son pigeon shooting providing you have the shooting rights and written permission for the land you shoot. If you require further confirmation speak to Mike Eveliegh at Basc, he's a top fella and top dog on legal malarky at B.A.S.C.

supergame
Ah well we can't have you being influenced by rude films or corrupt your mind with violent a film, it may cause you turn nasty and use your shotgun in a naughty way. :(
reynard895
I agree with the member that posted earlier, you were not braking the law, as the law states the landowner or the person to whom has the shooting rights over the said land. check it out and get back to me. cheers
