njc110381
I was thinking I'd stick a post it note to a large sheet of paper. I've got a proper plate that I made from scrap somewhere but I can't find it! I'm glad a lot of you are saying it's not the cartridges at fault. I've got 500 of these to go before I need more! MC
My advice would be to not aim it, just look at the target and nothing else. Mount the gun and shoot it, don't think about where to aim.
Highlander
I’m not technically minded when it comes to guns but I believe I’m right in saying that most if not all shotguns will by design tend to shoot high. The reason most shooters miss sitting quarry (think about that ‘can’t miss’ pigeon) is they shoot at it rather than at its feet. Bolting rabbits are the same, shoot low by holding the fore end shorter than normal and you’ll hit more.

Paddy Galore!
 aIRGUN SOUNDS PERFECT FOR THAT RANGE AND SITUATION! or my spas, that shoots like a rifle, big blade fore sight, ghost sight rear, ideal for sitting targets as i can't seem to hit sweet fanny adams if it's moving! njc110381
You get enough chances with a SPAS. You'd think one of the shots would hit what you're going for?
Paddy Galore!
You get enough chances with a SPAS. You'd think one of the shots would hit what you're going for? perhaps, but it's got this silly little hole for a rear sight, very distracting, funny thing is tho, if you aim this and fire at somethings feet thats what you hit! tried it out last week and hobbled a rabbit. COACH
If the rabbit is sat still you must bring up the muzzles from under the rabbit slow and as your front bead touches the feet pull the trigger, as on a sbs 70% of your shot will rise above the rib/barrels killing the rabbit. If you aim at the rabbit the shot will go over the rabbits back and through it`s ears and it will run off wounded slightly.
soreshoulder
i was alway told by my grandfather 'never aim a shotgun' point and shoot
njc110381
Cheers Coach, I'll give that a try. It really did feel like I was missing under them. On a couple of my first shots there was a big cloud of dust coming up from what looked to be in front of the Rabbits so I just tried shooting higher. Maybe I should start again from the bottom and work up? I've got a few clays sitting in the shed, perhaps I'll stand them up in the field and try to smoke them?
