well i had a phonecall off a local farmer asking me if i would deal with 2 sets of cubs so i set off this morning at 3.30 am got to the farm at 3.45 and to my disbeleive i couldnt see a thing to very low mist so i decided to try somewhere else so back in the car and drove about 7 mile to another farm which was having abit of trouble parked up climbed over 1st gate and to my astonishment there was 4 foxes in there which saw me coming,i was gutted so carried on walking to another part of the farm as i was reaching my destination i saw another fox running across the field with a old lambs leg in its mouth anyway he was away too. so i sat there and within 15 mins this fox came trotting towards me was about 80yds away so i took aim and it dissapeared i then sighted the same fox 10 mins later couldnt get a shot at it though and it was heading away from me so i thought that was it so i then got up and started walking to another place when i heared all the magpies chattering away about 300yds away so i layed in a ditch and i saw this same fox again as foxes do it was just mooching about and it started walking towards me so i had him in my cross airs all of the time it came to about 225yds away and i thought right you f....r your having it and i squeezed on the trigger and it dropped like a stone exactly where it was sitting, i was well over the moon with the shot straight through the neck with a 55 gr .223.

ive got to say this is a new gun and im over the moon with it we weighed the fox down the farm and it come in at 23lb so it was a fair size and farmer well happy, heres a pic
