well i done it last night. the longest fox yet with the .20tac,

Not a nice shot but all i could see was the chest so i took the shot and the 40gr Vmax worked (as you will see) rather well.

 

a bit graphic for those that don't like the messy stuff look away.

 

I had a good look at the point of entry and it was just to the right of the wind pipe just above the rib cage, so the bullet went through soft flesh and then the V max bit done the rest.

 

 

 

this is as i found it after the shot, she had rolled down a small incline next tp the pens and stopped as seen

 

and then a look at just how good the 40gr V max worked.

 

 

the pictures are not the best but at least i took the phone with me.

i forgor to metion the fox was laying down looking into the pen, with its head hidden by a large feeder, so i had to take the shot as this one may be the one that took a few birds last thursday,

 

back out tonight to see if there are anymore about.

Wowzer! That hits hard. Am I right thinking that the .20 tac is a necked down .223?
