old nobel 82 powder

Recommended Posts

Hi lads and lasses , just trying to use up all the powder ive got knocking about before i buy some more , the powder in question is an old tin of nobel 82 in yellow writing ....

im sure it does 32 gram loads? , but just looking for a general bit of data to start a load off and work it from there , it seems to be a medium/slow speed burning powder so a guess would be 22grains with 32 gram load ? starting point it may be suited to heavier loads though much akin to hs-7... but just need something substancial to make a definitve decision on a starting point .... if anybody has any max load data also with pressures it would be super handy !

ive found inconsitant info from google, so any real world experiance would be nice ....
