Cranfield
If you are referring to a rotary speed controller, I have never felt the need for one. However, I have heard people claim to have got bigger bags with a slower, or faster speed on their rotary. My Pinewood Advantage seems to go at the right speed, or perhaps the pigeons round here haven't been as educated as some.
markbivvy
my rotor is home made , motor out of a electric roof. when i first tried it. it launched a pigeon about 20 yards down the field. short of lashing the dead bids to the arms they would not stay on. got a controller of tony cooper and it sorted it out. but at times the slower speed appears to me to work better. windless days.there only a tenner try one. stand by for a pagefull of answers. Highlander
Like all the other answers to 'how to and how do'? with pigeon shooting it all depends. Depends on so many different things. Of course it works, some days you'll want a slow turn others a faster one. Get a speed controller then work out on the day which is best!
