shooterash
Hi all went shooting for pigeons today, set up around 12 o,clock, there was not alot about, so i decided to do some rough shooting. Around 3.30pm they started to come back to the woods to roost, i manage to shoot 7 in total, so i decided to take a look at there crop, to see what they had been feeding on? Brussels and lots of them take a look. Edited December 27, 2005 by shooterash

scolopax
Greedy? strange thing to say. They are just trying to survive. At this time of year with very long nights and freezing temparatures if a pigeon goes to roost with an empty crop it is more than likely dead by morning. To the woodpigeon its a simple matter of survival.
