Shotgunspud
Hello again, 2 weeks ago now, After having 3 back to back hundreds on the same course (well total 381 in 3 trips,) didn't think we would shoot it hard again for some time!! Wrong the green keeper said he could see a decrease in the numbers on some holes but on others still the same so we decided to give it another go the next Friday, but Daz my shooting buddy could not make it due too family ties... (Washing his hair) anyway went with one of my mates from old and I let him shoot 80% of the night he done well seeing he had not shot under lamp for over 10years!! He is a very good shotgun shot and not bad with rifle but picked it up in no time. We have started seeing a lot of foxes on the golf course over the last 3-4 weeks?? And ended taking another 2 on this night 2 x big dog foxes close together I got 1 and my mate the other, happy with shooting them but where are they coming from??? RSPCA maybe?? Anyway we ended the night on 61 rabbits and 2 foxes 2 crows one of which was a good 140yards which I was very happy with (I hate crows ask Daz he passes me the rifle every time as he knows my love of them) But sorry no photo! I like a plum I forgot the camera on this night, Last weekend course number 2, Daz and I on one of are other courses, started just before dark!! Nice starts with 2 x crows in the bag don't know if I have told you before but I hate crows?? Started shooting rabbits not a lot but it was spot on!! we had to work for them which was a nice change for us and with me shooting like a plum didn’t help, got it back together in the end, we had a good chat most of the night you know old shooting stories and trips we have coming up which passed the night by quick. We ended the night up on 46 rabbits 2 crows and 1 pigeon. Thanks Edited July 28, 2010 by Shotgunspud
