neil
I'm not really to fussy but cream ones are easier to see when they are above ground
Cranfield
I,ve used both over many years, with equal success. I preferred to work small jills for rabbits and rats. My experience was that they were faster and more diligent workers than hobs. I always had one or two large polecat type hobs, for breeding purposes. On ocassions ,I have used them to flush foxes out of land drains. I never used them as a "liner", I preferred the ferret locator collar. .223
I prefer cream ferrets as i do a lot of ferreting with hawks and have found they are less likely to take a cream ferret as they are a totally different couler to rabbits so the hawk dose not confuse the ferret for a rabbit as sometimes happens with polecats.
