You can apply for your 1 for 1 and ask for a temporary permit to hold your existing rifle, they usually last 14 or 30 days, but ask for longer if you want! MOST people sell first though! ATB!! Or you could try and push your luck a little and ask for an extra slot but it'll cost you (worth it though if you want to wait and get a good price for the kit youve got - if youll make an extra 25 quid by waiting it would be worth it because you'd then have an extra 243 slot on your fac when you get rid of the gun..)
