Tom&Dexter
? Is that the only reason ? Dont want to breed What are there dogs like ? Is that not just to protect the line ?
Raja Clavata
Met a lady yesterday at the HPR class whose sire is from the solid black dog there - not a particularly good advert as it's completely bonkers and nigh on impossibly head strong. I openly discussed the concerns many express but she reckons the setup there is excellent. Personally, based on my own limited experience I'd not consider a "pure German bloodlines" GSP (whatever that really means) until I was on my third or fourth dog. Quite sure others will have alternate views. I also believe the ethos on dogs should be one of constant improvement so am fundamentally opposed to breeding restrictions on principle. My thinking being if it's OK for me to buy one of your dogs, bring it up and train it then it should bloody well be up to me to decide if it's bred from or not...
