right me and a mate are going shooting pigeons over rape on saturday, i was watching them come in today there were about 80 birds on the field and they were just dropping in without a care, i only got the permission last year just by keep going to the farms and asking, it does pay of in the end, anyway the farmer told me a story about the man before me, he said the man before me shot roughly 276 birds most were pigeons over rape in 2 days, this was 3 year ago and he never come back to the farm  so i cannot wait for it, it has been a while since we have been out but i will post some pictures up when i get back in of our days pest control :/ . and i will be watching the flight path until saturday as i only live 5 mins away from the farm just incase anything changes .

i went and chucked a couple of bails together, me and my mate sat there for a few hours and we got 2 woodies but most of them didn,t have much interest, they looked like they were coming to us but they were really high up but they have been on there all day, so i wonder if it is because they were quite full from feeding most of the day, the 2 we got had quite full crops, so we will wait and see on saturday because we will be there from about 7.30 and the hide is getting setup on friday so we only have to put a few decoys out, and i will post pictures on saturday night of what happened :good:

the fishing is going ok at the moment thanks

well sorry for the delay but we got on the field about 8 and set up, we were both ready by 8.30 and let the fun begin, we setup a v pattern with the magnet up the front about 15 yards of the begining of the v, 2 birds come straight in and we didn,t even see them until they were leaving lol, the birds come in few and far between all day, anyway we finished with 23 woodies and 4 ferals, not bad but gutted considering there was at least 200 birds there on monday last week, but there has been a lot of rape fields cut in the area this last week so i think that might of made a lot of birds move on, but we might give it a go again next week because it is going to be left in stubble for a while.
