foxbuster
Hi Guys, just a quick query, i live next to my in-laws (yeah i know!! ) we are in a secluded area in which our next neighbours live around 1/2 mile away, my father in law owns a field that joins onto a large farm i already shoot on. My question is could i get this land passed to use my rifles on. It would be ideal to zero and check my rifles on only if i shoot in one direction as there is a large bank one side (the farm side) of the field to use as a safe backstop for the bullets to end up in. I cant see a prob personally but what are your thoughts before i give my F.E.O a bell? Cheers in advance.
apache
There is no reason why not. How long have you had your cert? Is it worth asking for it to be opened?

If they say no it doesn't count against you if you ask again in the future. Just write a short, polite letter explaining your experience and how you want to save them having to come out and assess each piece of land as many people want you do do one off foxing jobs............ Can't harm now! Seems to depend on your force and prevailing wind direction whether you get it!

My fac is from swp amd they have told me that 2years is ok for open ticket depending on the circumstances so if you shoot enough ammo and have enough land then you should be fine after 3 years. Edd ps where abouts are you?
Dekers
If you have 13 farms and a closed FAC I suspect you have had a number of dealings with your FEO already, probably best to talk to him!
