yickdaz Posted September 3, 2010 Report Share Posted September 3, 2010 I see more pigeons on the roads during the breeding season so i suspect its mainly grit they are after , but if there is any spilt grain on the road , I expect they will take that too. i would say gritting to help digest cereal crops;due to the fact they are harder to break down in the crop than leaf crops.
