MJN
I saw this in the paper today http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-heref...cester-11215871 he had a cannon in the garage, sound familiar, are we missing anyone ? According to neighbours he is a vary nice man. I wonder if they will find anything or is it anohter overreaction ! M. edit :- I see in the Worcester news , a lot more info ! "Police are doing their job but it took 10 hours to clean it out. It wasn’t done in a very diplomatic way and they didn’t put things back in the right place. This could happen to anyone in the gun club. I am quite confident he will be totally exonerated.” " s Edited September 8, 2010 by MGMan

njc110381
Oh no! Mention of a club suggests that he was a member of the local place as they do some cannon stuff. I could well know the chap, in fact it could even be the club chairman! I'm sure I'll hear about it soon enough as I'm a member there. I do hope things turn out ok for him because he's a well respected and nice genuine bloke. I can't imagine him being the sort to do anything he shouldn't.
Mungler
Poor sod. Sounds just like what happened to Mick Sheppard. Lots of publicity, paper called, tongues wagging etc. I bet when he gets exonerated it'll get 2 lines on page 42 of the local rag. Stuff like that destroys lives and someone's privacy. I would love to know the % of serious crimes that are carried out with historic rifles of obsolete calibres and Napoleonic canons.
