I live in manchester, and have not been able to find a place to shoot locally. I work away during the week, so driving loads at the weekend to shoot is a real pain in the ****.. I am not new to this, and have been stalking/shooting since i was 17 (im 37 now). I have everything needed to be safe and legal, including BASC membership etc... Can anyone tell me if there are places avaliable to shoot in the manchester area. Im in Middleton. Recently missed out on membership with the pigeon shooting club in Staffordshire. With working away, and the other half imploring me to stay home weekends, having somewhere local would be a fantastic thing, and willing to pay for it too, not looking for a freebie (although that would be a bonus lol) Thank you in advance for all your help... Sam. dando44 im up for any local shooting on farms,etc etc, i work at a school in lees oldham im the caretaker there, and thers farms all round it,im going to go round at weekend to see if they would let a few of us on with airrifles,but at the min im going to DUKINFIELD AIRGUN CLUB its open tuesday and thursday 7 till 9.30 and saturday and sunday 10 am till 1pm 9 quid a session, and all are very friendly people i like it personally, just target practice, oh and im from greenacres oldham Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The land was awesome, but was sold for a development... Are there any good places (on here, another forum, or website) you could recommend for help finding permission. Have done plenty of legwork with local and not so local land owners, done everything properly, but still no joy...
