Jimny Versus Terios

I have a jimny which i find great as a shooting vehicle. My uncle is thinking of getting a terios( as a shooting vehicle) and I have a few questions.

Do they have a 4wd gearbox, high and low?

Are they good off road, mpg?

Are they better on road than a Jimny?

Have searched on line but cant find enough info.

Thanks

Peter.

post-2492-1285105109.jpgpost-2492-1285105179.jpgHello,

I own a Terios as a shoot vechile only and i can't fault it. It is constant four wheel drive, no high and low but has a diff lock. It does about 33 mpg. I was going to buy jimny at first but to get any room in the back i was told that i will have to remove the back seats. The Terios back seat fold flat so i have found this more practical rather then removing the seats.

I had my terios for about six months now and used it all through the winter and never got stuck, i am sure i will one day but so far so good.

I have the MK1 model 1999 with a massive 1.3 petrol engine. lol.

I'd heard that too, but my '03 Jimny's back seats fold flat.... The bottom parts lift up toward the front seats, and the back parts fold down into the space - Probably in the same was as your pics.

Not a huge space, but i've managed to transport a good few bags and boxes up to the tip in it.
