pabs
30 ftlb with AA field Plus work well. Puts them about 940 on an 18" LW. What length barrel you got? LW, BSA?? Edited September 27, 2010 by pabs

mad1
its a standard 16 inch barrel . Can the power be upped by just springs alone . Also would i need to alter my zero from 28 yards
Davy Holt
Hiya,7 its a standard 16 inch barrel . Can the power be upped by just springs alone . Also would i need to alter my zero from 28 yards best way is to either keep or sell the gun you have and buy one already FAC rated when your ticket comes through. My zero is set @ 42 yards
Dekers
Anything above 30ft lb for any air rifle brings questions of price, repeatability, pellets, usability and the biggest one...why? A PCP air rifle is expensive, and needs charging kits and servicing. A .22lr is generally much cheaper and you need a FAC for both anyway. A .22lr will handle caps down to around 30ft lb with an array of shorts, longs, shotshells, lr, up to just over 200ft lb! So stick with no more than around 30ft lb or consider something else would be my advice.

Dekers
power for an fac rapid cannot be turned up by spring alone. Errrr, to be a little more specific it can be turned up by spring alone, but you will more than struggle to hit as high as 30ft lb that way!
