Edward
Not a very happy bunny right now, I was plinking this afternoon and noticed the reticule was slowly turning clockwise, I have just set to with a sprit level and the scope is dead level with the gun. This is the first hawke scope I have had and I wont be having another, I have only had it a fornight and its meant to be bloody shock proof What do you recomend I do? I bought it at the midland gamefair, so I dont have a recipt Finally what do you recomend I replace it with for under £50, I quite like the bsa essential 3-9x40 I dont want any more of this IR, milldot and AO **** just a scope that works and doesnt fall apart. Or is it something simple that I have missed??

Try a second hand simmons or bushnell would be my advice.
Edward
The one I have got was £70 and was supposedly the best air gun scope etc etc Im going to ring the place where I got it from tomorrow and see what they have to say. Dekers
£50/£70 at the Midland and no receipt? Things go wrong sometimes, even Rolls Royce break down. Hawke offer a good range of sensibly priced scopes which on the whole perform well within their price bracket. Deben also offer a very good warranty service, so irrespective of the Midland situation talk to Deben before you throw in the towel!
Hucky
Give them a call, you have nothing to loose, chances are there is some form of manufacture date code on the box somewhere so they will know its still 'fresh'. I sent a 2 year old Nikko Sterling back to Highland last month and got a new one by return post. If you are polite and persistant chances are they will give in just to keep you happy ! I just refuse to give in when I am on the phone, my favourite trick is to call 15 min before the office closes and then politely keep telling them I am not happy, come 10 past 5 they are itching to go home and the boss isn't going to pay overtime so guess what ? yep, they generally offer a warranty swap just so they can go home ! Good luck, just don't give them a reson to hang up by getting aggresive (I am sure you wouldn't) ..... most companies 'record all phone calls for training purposes' so if they hang up on you - you have additional reason to complain !!! John_R
I have a Hawke 3-9 Sport HD on top of a .22 springer, and the reticle will turn through about 20 degrees when you reach the end of the zoom range!
Oxon88
I had the same problem with the reticle on a hawke scope a while back. Sent it back to the supplier and they exchanged it. new one was fine.
