Crossman 1322 has power bang on the limit and after being pumped up can be left safe for hours. On one of the airgun forums there,s a guy who tunes/services them and i would contact him for the best advice. If you do decide to get one make sure that it has the metal breach and not the later plastic version-these came in when production was moved to Mexico where the assembly is so bad as to make these versions total rubbish.

Mate just a couple of things, i would go for the HW45 but dont expect it to be near the 6ftlb legal limit as in my experience this is not the case when they have settled down and you put them over a chrony. The EB22 is a nice pistol but it is loud and will draw attention when you use it ( this might not be an issue depending on where you will be using it). Also with any C02 pistol you will have the added expence of the capsules to constantly buy. It is also recommended with the EB17 that you do not leave capsules in the gun when not in use so if you decide half way through a plinking session you have had enough you will be throwing gas away as you remove the pierced capsule from the gun.

Kindest Regards

cheers for the advice....sound wouldnt be an issue...and im not too bothered bout cost of co2 capsules they dont cost the earth from what i can gather.

wheirauch rifles are amazing so i guess their pistols will be of the same quality.....

should have said from the start tho.....im not a fan of replica / glock / sig looking style pistols .

I have some interest in this as I'm after a new Air Pistol for the company for despatch of rats primarily (on Glue Boards).

Needs to be .22, spring is fine and almost certainly best, no need for anything clever as the guys can just about hit a stuck rat at 2 or 3 inches away!

Anyway, COST...must be under £100.

Very few pistols get close to the 6ft lb limit, certainly no need for it for me here, the usual 3-4ft lb is perfectly adequate!

I have an old BSA Magnum at the moment which is fine but another is required and I have hardly looked at air pistols for years.

Any ideas?

Cheers

PS

I hope this does not look like I'm Hi jacking the thread, I think we are both after similar info!

Cheers
