100milesaway Posted October 11, 2010 Report Share Posted October 11, 2010 When we moved into our bungalow 5 years ago the garden hadn't been touched for 10 years. We removed 17 mature ( some 35 feet high including Euceliptus),some of these were fir trees 5 feet from the building, all of these were removed by us with a bow saw and a pair of secaters and a couple of wheelie bins. We then got a guy in with a stump grinder. Why are people so stupid to plant trees that will eventually be massive so close to buildings.We love trees but not that close to the property. from Auntie.
