johnskevena
As promised John, here is my lamp mounted sideways on my scope, a light force. Rifle, CZ .223. That is one decent looking bit of kit you have there lad. It is making me jealous looking at it. Been thinking for a while of getting myself a .222 or .223 for foxes but every time i have my mind nearly made up something comes along that puts that idea on the back boiler for a while That is one big battery too for your lamp. That is the only bad thing i could say about the light force lamps is they are monsters on a battery. The deben light i have is worked off a 12v 7ah battery and last for about 1 1/2 hrs continous lamping and is small enough to wear off my belt so three of them fully charged and we can stay out till morning .If i put my lightforce lamp which is the next model above yours on my battery it only lasts for 25 min max on them. What size is your battery in the pic and how long would you get out of it with your lamp? Hi John. I get about 2 & 1/2 to 3 hrs out of it with my lamp. The battery is an 18amp an hour Deben. Your right though, it does suck up a good bit , mine has a 100 watt bulb, which i suppose, does not help. Cheers.
Frank
How narrow a beam can you get with that frank? Hi Dave g, yes i can get a very narrow beem when i adjust it, very pewerfull and bright. Great lamps, but they do suck up a good bit of battery power. Dunkield
Frank, It is obvious you are a very tidy person, and I am sure being that way and being well organised helps with the success you enjoy, I waste so much of my life trying to find things I put down 5 minutes ago :*)

I am sometimes like that myself. I am neat and tidy, you are right, sometimes i wish i was a bit more care free, however, as you said, it does get results. I clean my rifle everytime i use it, not harshly or anything, just a carefull rutine that i have allways employed. This seems to give me very accurate results. Hi Benjy, yes you are right it is a S&b 3 to 12 x 50. It has the thick post reticle and thin one in the middle, fantastic scope cant beat it in my opinion. I love the CZ rifles so far. My .223 is the most accurate rifle i have ever owned. It groups well under an inch with all types of factory ammo, mostly 1/2 an inch. My CZ .22lr is not far behind, infact right next to it as far as accuracy is concerned. Fantastic rifles for the money in my opinion .
