Stamford
What I can't understand is why someone would repair his chicken shed wearing a top notch jacket are you a pen pusher by trade ?? Dave
Stamford
Looking at his avitar he appears to support Chelsea. Perhaps that explains it. 'kin numptey
marlin vs
Stick it in the freezer for a few hours, this work's for glue and chewing gum, it hardens and you can just peel it off,it's worth a try.
jacksdad
It won't come off, sorry! I'm a bathroom fitter/plumber, been using it for years and got the T-shirts to prove it  The remover stuff is only for removing the foam before it dries, for cleaning up excess as you work, as for the wipes, we just use cheap baby wipes, also good for silicone, no need to buy 'special' branded ones Acetone is good for cleaning, but again it won't touch cured foam and anyways most nail varnish remover is now acetone free for H&S reasons
Lez325
Good idea, but try it on a discrete area first. WD does amazing things, although it says 'stops sqeaks' I sprayed some in my daughters hamsters face and it screamed like banshee   Les
docholiday
The thought of spending over £160 for another jacket is not an idea I had planned for  might be better than a good tongue lashing from the wife....
Stamford
Nothing to peel off, its soaked into the jacket... Especially after trying to get it off with detergent and having it dry cleaned.

WGD
Nah mate, it's knacked. Colour it in with a green permanent marker to match your jacket.
Hodmedod.one
Be very careful with acetone. It will damage a lot of synthetic fabrics. It is a solvent and will melt them.
stevethevanman
Errrrrm not sure if anyone has told you this, but the chemicals in the foam may be in the jacket, hence a peice of it isnt comming off, also WD40 or Acetone may get it off, but be careful just wiping solvents over clothing as you may find it melts plastics!! Stamford
I'm saved The stuff from Screwfix arrived this afternoon so I did a test piece on the inside and there were no issues with the material, so decided to attack a small stain, dabbed it on, waited for 45 minutes and wiped it off...... No stain, No glue, Nothing, not a mark in sight... I actually did a double take, this stuff is amazing Going to do the rest of the jacket tomorrow. Happy days and lesson learnt I reckon
