rimfire4969
Sounds like a great day, how many did you release. Were the birds very high or the guns have early season jitters.

Treestalker
bit of first day jitters too I think Cow's @r5e and banjo springs to mind! Awesome birds, all full-tailed and flying more like January pheasants. Nice shoot you've got there Sir Les.
proTOM1
Sounds like a good first day . We had our first day last week and shot 436 and they flew very well ,this is all patridge . snozzer
Good start, just think, more birds left for the better days in January (Think hard ground, frosty morning and hot shooting)
al4x
Sounds like a good first day . We had our first day last week and shot 436 and they flew very well ,this is all patridge . We are hitting them hard as a few are unwell due to all the wet weather but things looking ok now my brothers got a customer thats got something going round his, they've had to really give him a hard time to try and make him treat them as obviously the withdrawl period means its not very attractive at this time of year cancelling shooting. Nice one Elby sounds like a good day and glad they are flying ok, we had 90 partridges 20 duck and a few pheasants as a warmup on saturday, partridges are flying ok but not great but hey this is just warming them up a bit!!
