welshwarrior
I have recently acquired a sbs Belgium Folding 410. When it's fired the empty carts gets really tight in the chambers the Right barrel is the tighter. Eley Furlong are the worst and the rim gets bent by the extractor, but Gamebore are quite tight and Hull I can work out gentlely by hand. What do I need to do to make it better or will I have to just stick with Hull? Would Brass shells make it better? Andy H
I have a belgian sxs 410 that was exactly the same all i did was polish the chambers with wire wool wrapped around an old cleaning brush in a battery drill. Also the right chamber is still tighter than the left.

Scully
Have you considered the chamber lengths? If you are using longer cartridges than your gun is chambered for, things are gonna get tight.Just a thought.
vulpicide
Some of these old Belgian guns were chambered for 2 1/2 " cartridges get your RFD to check it .

welshwarrior
It's a 2 1/2 and only use 2 1/2 carts first I checked when I got it and that it was in proof can't see a use for 2 inch
fortune82
It's a 2 1/2 and only use 2 1/2 carts first I checked when I got it and that it was in proof can't see a use for 2 inch Mine did exactly the same especially with Eley cartridges. I got some fine wet and dry wrapped round a length of steel rod, some WD40 and a drill and went to work on the chamber, forcing cone and first section of the barrels. It doesnt do it at all now. Before I did this the gun used to occasionally blow primers with excess pressure!
