went out this morning and drew a blank :*) :*) :D

but redemed myself this evening i went out at 2.35 got to the farm at 3.15 had a chat with the farmer, he told me he had been seeing a few foxes as of late. which boosted my cofidence no end.

with my rifle ready of i went i ony got 150yds or so past the farm when i decided to rangefind certain spots on an embankment so i would know roughly the ranges b4 i would have a call whilst doing so i spotted a fox 186yds away down on the bipod i went with the wind in my face perfect or so i thought  i couldt see the fox it now was behind a load of whins so i moved to get a better angle but the fox by this time had done one. so off i went heading for the fell

when i got to the fell the wind was wrong to have a call so i walk round to the other side. out came the rangefinder again to determin certian ranges. with a good idea of the different ranges i took out my whistle and called. after 3 calls i spotted a fox coming in the distance 500-600 yds away, i kept calling it coming all the time keeping to the edge of the whins. it got to a place where i had scanned with the range finder it was now 220yds. time to say good bye mr fox, as i got down on my rifle i spotted another fox to my right which i failed to see with focusing on the other. the one on my right was only 100yds. crack went the bullet down went the fox (101yds)

the 1st fox was still comming . i called again it went into a lod of whins only to appear on my left she got fed a 55gn vmax aswell (96yds)

that will do for me time to call it a day its now 4.45

back over the fell i went. sod it i might as well have one last call b4 home . on doing so a fox was comming across a very large feild in front of me. i grabbed the rangefinder 220ish yds. its gonna wind me i said to myself please stop i prayed,

it stopped for a **** thump went the vmax No3 gone down(226yds)

home time with the farmer bing well chuffed :devil::D

Thats what i find if i go on vergin land. :D

Im off out tommorow night, if all is well, ill see how i do.

I want to do more dawn and evening calling soon, i kind of prefer that, i feel its more of a challenge. :) But sometimes im under pressure to get lamb killers so lamping in them situations is the first choice.
