We are in the process of building a new trailer for shooting as this one has been on the road for 10 yrs and it is begining to show its age.It is also becoming noisy from all the miles it has put up on the Irish byroads.

Will post pics of the 2006 model when she has been approved

Like the trailer idea John

How do you find the Deben Lamp?..............I too have one of these but I find the beam being deflected off the tapered cone of the lamp gives out a ring effect or a dark central circle (like a polo mint effect)when used at distance ...........The beam is also very wide and can't be focused .

Is yours the same or have I purchased a dodgy one ?

Cheers

Thats a great set up John  , your right about the trailer on its last legs :D , has it got NCT?:lol:

Any chance of vewing the Sako Hornet from the otherside?, Love to see the bolt and action, thats if thats no trouble mate?

Which lamps do you prefer? The tracer or light force?

Thanks for showing the pics by the way. :D:D

Didnt have that problem with mine but i only use my deben lamp when i have called the fox to within 150 yds or closer to me.

For foxes further out i have a Light force blitz with a built in dimmer which i think is the dogs bxxxxxxs when it comes to lamps.

I dont think the beam on the deben is meant to be a wide beam either.

I think the lamp was designed to illuminate as much of the chosen target as possible and not to light up the whole field.

No nct Frank but i think it is exempt from it because of its height

I only use the deben lamp for the last 150 yd s or so and i am lamp them in outisde of this with the lightforce. The deben is the lamp i would be most happiest with simply because of the fact when it is mounted on the scope and the fox is coming i am in total control of the situation and any mistake or misses or hiccups are all my fault and no one elses.I cant attach my light force as i do not have the connection but am going to rectify that soon and maybe my preference will change then.

Will post a few pics of the bolt /action as soon as soon as i get my new camera back from herself as she has taken it to take some pictures of puppys
